The Claims Process:
In the event of a loss, your Insurance Policy will cover your home or business against certain specific ‘Insured Perils’ such as: Fire, Burst Pipes, Storm, Flood, Burglary, Subsidence etc…..

Once you notify your Insurance Company that you have suffered a loss they will appoint a Loss Adjuster to act on their behalf in investigating the claim and agreeing settlement proposals and terms.

Please note that it is up to you to prove that a claim exists and compile your own claim under the terms of your Insurance Policy. The Loss Adjuster will not compile your claim for you.

It seems only fair and reasonable, therefore that you have an opportunity to employ your own representative to look after your interests. Martin J Carr & Associates will act for you the policyholder in your dealings with your Insurance Company.

Fees:
Our fees are charged as a percentage of your claim settlement and are agreed with you in advance. Our maximum fee is 10% (+ VAT) and thereafter is on a reducing scale depending on the size of the loss.
There is no charge for your initial consultation. You pay us after you have received your settlement payment from your Insurance Company.
